Service Description
TIER=6 Classes *Recommended to take PreReqPoleIntro & Tier 1 prior* PRE-BOOK online to secure spot. Walk-ins welcome at own risk of class being full, cancelled, etc. Ages 16 and up(Minors: refer to rules on Intro tab) "FLIE" Foundations Levitations Inversions Elevations The fundamentals pave our paths to habits we create in our movement from the very beginning & help set us up for success. Creating good habits from the start will carry w/you your entire journey! Take these tiers as many times needed, there's a lot to learn & grasp! WHAT TO WEAR: Less skin friction required, feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in! KNEE PADS recommended to get used to techniques to stay off your knees during floor work. Socks/lyrical slippers/half toe socks are also great to keep in your bag. FOUNDATIONS TIER 1 We will touch on the 5 fundamentals & techniques. To create good habits from the start we will: -Drill micro bends & points -Prep for swift & efficient flexibility/strength training through initial in-depth form building -Explore extensions & energy -Tap into our T-zone awareness & pelvis activation -Engrave the 3 P’s in our mind & body -Gain a good grasp of swing motion through various spins -Learn a handful of moves & transitions to initiate body awareness & creative movement -To then introduce & play with proprioception The goal is to help guide your discovery of your own unique movement pathways rather than just imitating & to discover body awareness, build confidence & fluidity & establish good form & strength. *Tier 1 completion RECOMMENDED prior to Tier 2* FOUNDATIONS TIER 2 We will build off Foundations Tier 1 fundamentals w/added strength training to prep for Levitations that requires us to lift our entire body weight. We will: -Continue & add healthy habit building drills -Increase strength & skill w/swing motion using more lifted spins -Further build our movement vocabularies of moves & transitions to help towards creative movement exploration -Dive into deeper proprioception to feel fluent & freedom in creative movement The goal is to heighten our all around body awareness through established practices & build strength to flourish in all that is yet to come! *Tier 1 & 2 completion RECOMMENDED prior to Levitations* Please be aware of the cancellation/reschedule policy. Cancellation Policy
Log into your account to cancel/reschedule. 12 HOURS MINIMUM notice prior to class time must be given or class is forfeited. Unlimited Memberships require the same notice, or full class price fee is due and membership is suspended until fee is paid. Pole Parties, Private Lessons, & Series require a MINIMUM of 72 HOURS notice or else payment is fully forfeited. $75 non-refundable fee for party cancellations under 7 days. No exceptions. No Refunds or trades. Unless in the event of a medical emergency, credit may be given if a medical note from a licensed practitioner is provided for the specified date & time of missed class. Credits expire 1 month from issue date. Bookings close 12 hours prior to class start time. 15-MINUTE LATE In consideration of other students and for safety reason, please arrive no more than 15 minutes after your sessions scheduled start time or you forfeit your class. Late arrivals do not have adequate time to properly warm up, and are at higher risk of injury. You may depart at any time once the session has started. TRAIN POLICY: To keep things fair, if you get stuck at a train take a picture and show it to instructor IN PERSON. Anything other than in person will NOT credit you. If you end up being more than 15 mins late due to the train, and you would like to still attend class, show instructor your picture and make sure to hop in doing a full body warm up prior to hopping on to pole stuff. We still want you practicing safely & we need to make sure your body is warm! Injuries SUCK to come back from, so make sure you are warm! If you would rather attend a different class due to being so late, that is also an option ONLY if picture of the train is presented IN PERSON.
